Cyprus’ Industrial Turnover Index rose by 5.6% in March 2026 compared with the same month last year, according to data published by the Statistical Service on Friday.
The index reached 144.7 units, with 2021 used as the base year.
In manufacturing, the index climbed to 148.7 units, marking an annual increase of 8.2%.
Growth was also recorded in water supply and materials recovery, which rose by 16%, and in mining and quarrying, which increased by 11%.
By contrast, electricity supply recorded a decline of 10.3%.
For the January to March period, the Industrial Turnover Index increased by 2.8% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
