John Ratcliffe, director of the CIA, reportedly travelled to Moscow on Tuesday for meetings with Russian officials, according to a CBS News journalist citing unnamed sources in a post on X.
The reported visit coincided with the arrival of a US military transport aircraft at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport.
US military aircraft flew from Riga
Flight-tracking data from Flightradar24 showed that the aircraft landed at Vnukovo earlier on Tuesday.
The US-registered Boeing Globemaster, bearing the number 07-7181, flew directly from Riga, Latvia, and landed in Moscow at around 10:00 Greek time.
The Kremlin said it had no information about the aircraft.
