With deep sorrow, Ledra Advertising bids farewell to its founder, Giorgos Vassiliou, former President of the Republic of Cyprus, who passed away leaving behind a significant legacy for both the country and the business world of Cyprus.

The late Giorgos Vassiliou, in a pioneering move for his time, founded one of the first advertising companies in Cyprus in the 1960s under the name Ledra Advertising, laying the foundations for the development of the modern advertising industry. With boldness and foresight, he sensed emerging trends and opened the way for creative advertising communication.

For Ledra Advertising, Giorgos Vassiliou was not merely a founding figure. He was the person who defined the values, vision and culture of action that continue to guide the company to this day.
