Weak low pressure is affecting the region, bringing mostly clear weather with some brief unsettled conditions over the next few days.
Today, after patches of light fog and low cloud clear, the weather will become mainly fine. However, locally increased cloud is expected around midday and early in the afternoon, possibly bringing isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.
Winds will blow mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, initially light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually becoming locally moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight. Temperatures will rise to 29C inland, 23C on the west coast, around 24C on the remaining coasts and 18C in the higher mountains.
Tonight will be mainly clear, although local low cloud will appear at intervals. Light fog or fog may form in the early hours, mainly inland and on the south-eastern coast. Temperatures will fall to around 14C inland and on the coasts, and 10C in the higher mountains.
On Thursday and Friday, the weather will remain mainly clear, with local cloud at intervals. Around midday and early afternoon, isolated showers are possible, mainly in the mountains.
Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy and at times mainly cloudy, with isolated rain forecast. An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out, mainly in the mountains and inland.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, they will gradually fall to slightly below the seasonal average.
