Car Fire Involving 80 Year Old Woman Investigated in Limassol

Vehicle was parked in the Tricherousa area when it caught fire during the early hours.

Police are investigating the causes of a car fire that broke out in Limassol in the early hours of Wednesday.

According to police, the vehicle, owned by an 80 year old woman, caught fire at around 2am while it was parked on Grevenon Street in the Tricherousa area.

The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Service. The extent of the damage to the vehicle has not yet been assessed.

Investigations are continuing, with the case being handled by the Limassol CID.
