The countdown is nearly over for Cyprus Comic Con 2026, which returns to the Cyprus State Fair in Nicosia from 2 to 4 October for three days of comics, cosplay, gaming, live music, film, art, food, wrestling and pop culture.
Organised by a volunteer-based non-profit organisation, Cyprus Comic Con has grown since its first convention in 2014 into a major meeting point for creative communities and pop culture fans from Cyprus and abroad.
International actors, voice artists and creators
This year’s guest line-up includes Callum Kerr, known for ONE PIECE, The Wheel of Time and Virgin River, and Vincent Regan, whose credits include ONE PIECE, Troy and 300.
Also attending are Clive Russell, known for Game of Thrones, ONE PIECE and The Witcher, and Cypriot actor Jonny Coyne, whose credits include The Mandalorian and Grogu, Preacher and The Blacklist.
Voice acting will also feature prominently, with Kirsty Rider, Rich Keeble and Maxence Cazorla from 2025 game of the year Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 attending the event.
Greek voice actor, dubbing director and translator Dimitris Sarlos will also be among the guests.
Creators and artists attending include Tazio Bettin, Ulises Fariñas, Chris Thompson and BakaArts.
Pioneering game-development software creator François Lionet, known for tools including STOS BASIC, AMOS BASIC and Klik & Play, will also appear.
From Dragon Ball to Eurobeat
Live music will again form a major part of the convention.
Japanese singer Hiroki Takahashi, known for performing the original Dragon Ball opening theme, Makafushigi Adventure!, will perform live, including in a special collaboration with Panos Tsaparas and Kate X.
Eurobeat artist Dave Rodgers, whose music has become closely associated with Initial D and the international popularity of the genre, will also travel to Cyprus for the convention.
A broader programme of bands, DJs and performers will appear across several stages throughout the weekend.
Cosplay, gaming, cinema and wrestling
Cosplay will once again be at the heart of Cyprus Comic Con, with the Cyprus Comic Con Masquerade and Mediterranean Cosplay Championship forming part of the programme.
