A possible suspicious object has been detected in the airspace near Lebanon, according to a post on X by Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis. The announcement stated that the competent authorities were informed and acted immediately for precautionary reasons.

The spokesperson said that all appropriate measures have been taken to investigate the matter and, if required, to address the incident.
