Two 22-year-old men have been sentenced to six years and two and a half years in prison after being found guilty of illegally possessing cannabis and possessing the drug with intent to supply.
The case concerned more than 1.5 kilograms of cannabis seized during a coordinated operation by the Drug Law Enforcement Unit in Larnaca on 31 January.
According to a police statement, officers recovered the cannabis during the operation and arrested the two men, who were subsequently prosecuted and convicted by the Larnaca Criminal Court.
