IBAN registration and amendment requests must be submitted through Tax For All using CY Login from 5 October.

Requests to register or amend a bank account number (IBAN) will be accepted exclusively through the Tax For All (TFA) Taxpayer Portal from 5 October 2026, the Tax Department has announced.

Taxpayers will be required to access TFA using their CY Login credentials and electronically submit the completed T.F. 2008 form, together with an IBAN confirmation issued by their bank.

Other submissions will be rejected

The Tax Department said that from 5 October, requests to register or amend an IBAN that are not submitted after logging in through CY Login, including requests sent by email, will not be accepted and will be rejected.

The IBAN provided must belong to the beneficiary in whose name any payment may be made.

The Guide for Submitting Requests to Register or Amend a Bank Account Number (IBAN) through Tax For All is available on the Tax Department's website under its information material section.

Limited exception

An exception will apply to entities for which obtaining CY Login is objectively impossible because the entity cannot be verified.

In these cases, the request may be submitted through TFA without logging in via CY Login, accompanied by a duly completed and signed T.F. 2008-S form and an IBAN confirmation issued by the relevant bank.

The Tax Department stressed that this exception does not apply to entities that simply have not yet obtained CY Login access.
