Iran launched seven missiles targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, according to the US Armed Forces, which said most of the projectiles were intercepted and no casualties have been reported.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM), responsible for operations in the Middle East, said on X that six of the missiles were intercepted, while the seventh failed to reach its intended target.

Iran fired seven ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain hours after U.S. Central Command shot down four Iranian one-way attack drones that were launched toward the Strait of Hormuz,” CENTCOM said, adding that no injuries had been reported and denying claims of damage to US facilities in Bahrain.

In a statement carried by Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, the Revolutionary Guards said that "enemy bases in the region were struck by missiles," describing the attack as retaliation for US airstrikes on radar installations inside Iranian territory.
