Russia’s Defence Ministry said today that its forces launched overnight drone strikes against facilities belonging to Ukraine’s defence industry, as well as ships serving the Ukrainian armed forces.
According to the announcement, the strikes hit a drone assembly and storage site on the outskirts of Kyiv, a logistics support centre in the Odesa region and port infrastructure in Reni, on the Danube River.
The same source said that Russian forces struck a cargo ship in the port of Odesa carrying military equipment and products that could be used for military purposes.
Later, the Defence Ministry in Moscow announced another Russian strike on a cargo ship carrying military materiel in the port of Chornomorsk.
A supply-chain centre serving Ukraine’s armed forces and security services was also targeted, along with a data centre belonging to telecommunications company Datagroup in the Kyiv region.
