Kimberly Guilfoyle departed Greece on a commercial flight following her removal as US ambassador, with reports suggesting she may return to media work after the US midterm elections.

Former US ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle has reportedly left Greece on a commercial flight, bringing to an end her brief diplomatic tenure in Athens following her removal from the post amid allegations of financial irregularities.

According to reports broadcast by Star, Guilfoyle departed in the early hours of 30 October, travelling as a private US citizen after losing her diplomatic status.

Her departure followed a decision by the White House to remove her from the ambassadorial position. For now, however, she is said to be avoiding public comment on the circumstances surrounding her exit.

Ambassadorial residence vacated

According to the report, Guilfoyle was required under diplomatic protocol to vacate the official US ambassador's residence in Kolonaki by the end of October.

The residence, known as Jefferson House, has since remained vacant.

Josh Huck, who has assumed leadership of the US diplomatic mission in Athens on an interim basis, has reportedly remained in the residence traditionally used by the embassy's deputy chief rather than moving into Jefferson House.

Miami destination and possible Fox News appearance

Star reported that Guilfoyle travelled to Miami, although it remains unclear whether she intends to settle there permanently.

One scenario reportedly under consideration is dividing her time between the United States and Europe.

Particular attention has focused on whether she will respond publicly to allegations linked to her removal.

According to the same reports, Guilfoyle does not intend to make public statements before the conclusion of the US midterm elections on 3 November.

After the elections, she is reportedly considering giving her version of events, potentially through Fox News, where she previously worked and maintains professional connections.

Speaking fees reportedly reach $100,000

Guilfoyle also appears to be maintaining a presence on the paid speaking circuit.

According to the New York Post, her profile remains listed with Speaker Booking Agency, which arranges speaking engagements and corporate appearances.

The agency reportedly lists indicative fees ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 per appearance, depending on the nature of the event.

Available engagements include:

  • Corporate speaking events
  • Virtual presentations
  • Executive and leadership meetings
