A 55-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday morning in a fatal road accident on the Kofinou–Skarinou motorway, after losing control of his motorcycle while trying to avoid a dog and being struck by another rider travelling behind him.
Christos Siailos, 55, from Yeri, lost his life in the crash, which occurred on the motorway during the morning hours.
According to initial information from police, at around 8.30am a group of around ten motorcyclists were travelling on the motorway from Kofinou towards Skarinou.
