Third Arrest Over Robbery and Assault of Delivery Workers in Paphos

A 34-year-old suspect was remanded for four days, while two other people remain in police custody.

 

A 34-year-old man has been detained as part of an investigation into an alleged robbery and assault causing actual bodily harm in Paphos. He is the third person arrested in connection with the case, which concerns an incident involving delivery workers on 18 August.

Court orders four-day remand

Police said evidence obtained during the investigation led to a court-issued arrest warrant for the 34-year-old.

He was arrested on 23 August and appeared before Paphos District Court the following day. The court ordered that he be held for four days.

Two suspects remain in custody

The other two people arrested in connection with the same case remain in custody to assist with police enquiries.
