Cyprus is celebrating its second medal at the 20th Mediterranean Games, "Taranto 2026." After Bogdan Zabelinski, Savia Hadjicharalambous has now also made it onto the podium, in canoe kayak.
The Cypriot athlete finished second with a time of 2:02.19 in the final of the women's K1 500m.
Daniel Sirotin won final B of the K1 1000m with a time of 3:59.92, while Antonis Kyriakou finished fourth with 4:03.12.
The duo of Daniel Sirotin and Antonis Kyriakou took 8th place in the K2 500m final with a time of 1:35.61.
