Larnaca and Paphos airports remain fully operational despite regional disruptions in recent days and a number of flight cancellations affecting routes to Middle Eastern countries and some European services to Cyprus.

In a statement, Hermes Airports said both airports continue to serve passengers normally with all available flights, in full coordination with the competent state authorities and the aviation community.

According to today’s figures, 4 March, a total of 65 flights are scheduled to and from Larnaca International Airport and 38 flights to and from Paphos International Airport. At the same time, 48 cancellations have been recorded at Larnaca and 18 at Paphos.

Flights from Larnaca are operating to destinations including the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Egypt, Hungary, Italy, France, Belgium, Armenia, Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Lithuania and Lebanon. Airlines operating these routes include Wizz Air, Aegean, Cyprus Airways, Ryanair, British Airways, Air Serbia, EgyptAir, Air Baltic and Middle East Airlines.

From Paphos, direct flights are available to the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania, Latvia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Croatia and Italy, mainly through Ryanair, Jet2 and British Airways.

Advice to passengers

Hermes Airports urged passengers planning to travel to visit airline websites or contact their travel agent for updated information about their flights.

Despite the dynamic nature of the situation and ongoing adjustments to flight schedules, Hermes Airports noted that, based on current planning, additional regular flights to and from Cyprus airports are scheduled during the second half of March.
