A weak low-pressure system and unstable air mass are affecting the area.
Today, after the clearing of local low cloud and patchy mist or fog, the weather will become mainly clear. However, periods of increased cloud cover are expected, which around midday and early afternoon may bring isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly in mountainous areas and inland. Hail is possible during storms. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and later locally strong along the southern coasts, up to 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight to a little rough. Temperatures will rise to 34°C inland, around 28°C on the west coast, around 30°C on the remaining coasts and 24°C in higher mountainous areas.
Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear, though at times increased low cloud will be observed, and later patchy mist or fog may form locally. Winds will be mainly north-westerly to north-easterly, light at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slight. Temperatures will fall to around 19°C inland and along the coasts and around 14°C in higher mountainous areas.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be generally mostly clear. Temperatures will rise during the three-day period, exceeding average seasonal values.
