The UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy on Cyprus María Ángela Holguín will meet with both leaders a second time today after having met both separately last Monday.
Holguín will first meet with Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman at 3pm today in the north, followed by a meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides at 5pm at the Presidential Palace.
Her meeting with Erhürman was originally scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, but has since been brought forward.

The UN envoy is on the island to prepare the ground for a new, enlarged 5+1 meeting with the two leaders and three guarantor powers under the auspices of UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The aim of the meeting – expected end of July or early August – is to reach agreement on the resumption of formal negotiations.
Guterres has made it clear he wants to give the Cyprus issue one last push before his term ends as UNSG this December.
On Tuesday, the UN Envoy held separate meetings with the two negotiators while on Wednesday she attended an event to highlight the work of the bicommunal Technical Committees. Holguín was also due to meet with the leaders of AKEL and DISY.
