The UN peacekeeping force said any aggressive or dangerous behaviour by hunters toward its personnel or civilians will be reported for immediate criminal investigation, amid ongoing debate over hunters and environmental activists in the buffer zone.

The UN peacekeeping mission in Cyprus (UNFICYP) warned on Saturday, in a post on X, against any hunting activity in the buffer zone.
