A weak low-pressure system is affecting the region.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear, although low cloud and light mist are expected at times inland and along the coast. From midday onwards, cloud development over the mountains may bring isolated showers or thunderstorms, with the possibility of hail.
Winds will blow mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, while the sea will be slight to a little rough. Temperatures will reach around 35°C inland, 28°C on the western coast, about 30°C elsewhere along the coast, and 26°C in higher mountainous areas.
Outlook
Tonight, conditions will remain mostly clear, with low cloud and light mist or fog gradually forming inland and along the coast. Winds will be variable and light at 2 to 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slight. Temperatures will drop to around 20°C inland and along the coast, and 17°C in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, cloud developing in the afternoon is expected to bring isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly over the mountains and potentially inland.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly and will remain slightly above average for the season.
