A foreign national died after he was found floating unconscious among the rocks of a breakwater in the Pyla tourist area around noon on Saturday. According to the police, they received the report at around 12pm. The man was brought to the beach, where he was given first aid, and was then taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man has been identified, and efforts are under way through his country's embassy to inform his relatives.
