Nicosia recorded the highest temperature on the island on Monday, reaching 39C, according to the Department of Meteorology. Larnaca airport followed at 35C, with Polis Pafos at 36C and Frenaros at 34C. Limassol's new port and Pafos airport both saw highs of around 30C, while the mountain resort of Prodromos was the coolest location on the island at 29C.
Overnight lows ranged between 20C in Prodromos and 23C across several coastal and airport stations, including Larnaca, Pafos and Polis Pafos.
Humidity at midday was highest in Pafos, at 71%, followed by Larnaca at 52% and Limassol at 51%. Nicosia recorded the lowest humidity of the stations measured, at 25%.
